Val de Loire

Fort de ses recherches en biologie intégrative et gestion durable, de ses capacités expérimentales et de ses 961 agents, dont 660 titulaires, qui en font le sixième centre de l’institut par son effectif, le centre Inra Val de Loire mène des recherches autour de quatre pôles : « Dynamique des sols et gestion de l’environnement », « Biologie intégrative des arbres et organismes associés », « Biologie intégrative animale et gestion durable des productions animales », « Santé animale et santé publique ». Ces pôles sont répartis sur trois sites : Orléans, Tours et Bourges.

Une nouvelle enzyme de méthylation de l’ADN a été découverte chez la souris. Cette enzyme protège le génome des futurs spermatozoïdes contre l’effet délétère des transposons.
