The international Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree in Infectious Diseases and One Health (EMJMD–IDOH), coordinated by the INRA-Université de Tours Joint Research Unit for Infectiology and Public Health, has been selected first among 89 project proposals.

The INRA Val de Loire Centre, ranking sixth for the institute with its staff of 960, benefits from extensive experimental facilities. It conducts research in integrative biology and sustainable development around four clusters: "Soil dynamics and environmental management"; "Integrative biology of trees and associated organisms"; "Integrative animal biology and sustainable management of livestock systems"; "Animal and public health".
